Nancy Hatton Hollerbach passed from this life peacefully at her home in Boca Raton, Florida on January 9th at the age of 83.  She was born Ann Marie Disser on April 2, 1934 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, three minutes ahead of her identical twin sister, Suzanne Marie. Her parents Marie (Kelly) and Edward Disser raised a large, loving family of nine children including Edward, Robert, Mary Ellen, Marge, Genevieve, Sally, Jo and Suzanne.

She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1952 and moved to Chicago four years later, where she met Edward M. Hatton. They were married in 1958 and started their family of seven children while living in Barrington, Illinois and Norwalk, Connecticut.  The family moved to Boca Raton in 1973 and her door was always open. Nancy was many things to many people of all ages: a loving mother and grandmother, a second mother to many of her children’s friends, a loyal and fun friend, a welcoming hostess, an avid tennis player and bridge partner, and a constant volunteer.

After the death of Edward M. in 1989, she married Jim Hollerbach, travelling the world until his death in 2003.

Nancy was a longtime member of St. Joan of Arc parish and served in various ministries such as bereavement, prisoner outreach and bringing Communion to the homebound.  She was a founding member of Birthline and a member of the Conference of Catholic Women. She spent her later years on the road visiting her children, their spouses, and grandchildren for their various baptisms, First Communions, Confirmations and family vacations.

She is survived by her children Edward (Tom), Bill (Karen), Tom (Sally), John (Nancy), Laura Keady (John), Margaret Chunias (Nick), and Stephen (Julie), nineteen grandchildren, one great grandchild as well as her sisters Josephine and Suzanne, and 36 nieces & nephews.
