Michael Gerald Walser

Michael Gerald Walser, 83, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 due to complications associated with Parkinson's disease.  With him at the time of his death was his wife of 41 years, Mary Evans Walser as well as his faithful, four-legged companion - Teddy Bear.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three daughters, Rebecca Ellard (Robert) and Dawn Walser of Sarasota, Florida, Stephanie Walser of Los Angeles, California and one granddaughter.  Sidney Hodous also of Los Angeles, California.  He was the son of the late Gerald and Marjorie Walser of Sheridan, Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Kay Walser, Sheridan, IN as well as a sister, Molly McGuam, Indianapolis, IN.  Surviving siblings include Clark Walser, Palestine, TX, Sharon Irby, Clermont, FL, Jack Walser (Sally), Scotsdale, AZ, Leslie Nickerson (John), Anderson Island, WA and John Walser (Donna), Bloomington, IN.

Mike had an illustrious career as an Engineering Technical Writer with many outstanding jobs that included working on the space program at the Cape in the 60's as well as working on numerous military and civilian contracts with large corporations spanning the Easter part of the United States and internationally in Germany and Belgium.

Honoring Mike's final wishes, there is no funeral or memorial service planned.  However, the family request that contributions be made in his memory to the TriCounty Animal Rescue (No kill facility), 21287 Boca Rio Rd, Boca Raton, FL  33434 or the Michael J. Fox Foundation, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014 whose sole goal is to find a cure for Parkinson's disease.
