Welcome to the memorial page for

Michael Henry O'Neal

September 20, 1949 ~ March 17, 2017 (age 67) 67 Years Old

Michael Henry O’Neal, 67, of Bozeman, Montana went home to his heavenly father on Friday, March 17, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 20, 1949 in Arcadia, California to the late Henry and Martha O’Neal. His successful career spanned 50 years in the Municipal Bond business where he was greatly admired and is considered a legend among his peers and friends alike. Michael is survived by his loving and devoted wife Linda O’Neal of 46 years, his three children, Sean, Kelly and Colin, daughter in law Laurie, son in law Andrew, future daughter in law Melissa, his three grandchildren, Lily, Brayden and Xavier, his beloved nieces and nephews, his brother and sister in laws, Jerry Sorvino, Alfred Sorvino and Christa DeVitt, and Connie and Vern Higbee. He will also be sorely missed by his loyal four legged companion Clancy. It is with great sorrow that we honor this extraordinary man. Michael will be remembered for his grand personality, a lover of all things trivia, country music, golf, baseball, his love for the outdoors, including his beloved Bozeman, where he spent much of his time fly fishing and touring the beautiful Montana landscape with Linda and Clancy by his side. And of course, he will mostly be remembered for his quick wit and always showing up with a great joke. Michael will be greatly missed by his entire family and so many others that were touched by his kind, loving and larger than life spirit.

For expressions of sympathy, flowers can be sent to the funeral home, or donations can be made in Michael's honor to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society at www.lls.org, or the Pulmonary Fibrosis foundation at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org
