Matthew Michael McTague

Matthew M. McTague of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2017; he was 48 years old.  Matthew was born to parents Joseph F. and Annette P. (Deater) McTague on August 15, 1969 in West Covina, California.  He grew up in Philadelphia and spent most of his life in the city and surrounding area before moving to Florida.  Matthew worked in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and had a passion for the field of science. 

Matthew became an avid fisherman over the years and found his place of comfort on the water.  He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and offered for anyone to join him for a day on the boat.  He is survived by his beloved daughter Rachel; loving sons Kristopher and Ian; Brothers Mark, Martin, and Michael; and nephew Joseph.     

A memorial service in celebration of Matthew’s life will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 10:45am at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA (5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020).  He will be laid to rest with his parents. 

Following the ceremony, all are welcome to our reception at Chambers 19 Bistro (19 N Main St, Doylestown, PA 18901) from 1:00pm-3:00pm.  Metered street parking and a free parking garage (Union St & N Broad St) are nearby. There will be a free shuttle serviced offered for those of you that would like to park at the free parking garage, as there is a slight walk uphill to Chambers. A family friend, Barney Rooney, will be providing this free transportation.
