Marydeane Holderby Crowson

Marydeane Holderby Crowson, known as “Deanie”, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in Boca Raton, Florida. She was 90 years old.

Deanie was born on January 14, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the only child of Glen and Gladys (Rudolph) Holderby of Carmi, Illinois. Deanie married Robert (Bob) Eugene Crowson of Flossmoor, Illinois on August 17, 1946. They lived most of their married life in Park Forest, Illinois where they raised their children. Deanie was an avid bridge player, a frequent volunteer in her community and church and passionate about her family. 

Deanie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (2004) and her grandson, Matthew(1995).She is survived by her children, Robert Crowson (Sue), Cynthia Tassio (Tom), Susan Connell (Richard) and Beth Teykl (Jim), 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. 

A funeral mass will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church in Highland Beach, Florida on February 3, 2018, 2pm. Interment of ashes will occur later in the year at Holy Family Church in Park Forest, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
