With loved ones by her side, Marlene Lillian Catino, 77, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Thursday, September 27th, 2018. The love and sunshine she shared with family and friends will be missed by all.
Marlene was born on April 8, 1941 in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late Julio and Amalia Ruggerio. Marlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt,caring friend and an amazing business woman. She was a woman of deep faith. With Christ by her side, Marlene always had a smile on her face.
Marlene was married to Ted Catino, Sr. for 57 years. Together they had three children and enjoyed a life full of travel and adventure. Marlene is survived by her husband, Ted Catino, Sr., her son,Ted Catino, Jr. (Becky), her two daughters, Julie-Ann Jawor (Chet) and Stephanie Lanker, her eight grandchildren: TJ (Cliona), Vince (Lauren), Danielle (Brent), Micaela, Mitchell, Delaney, Caleb and Natalie, and her four great-grandchildren, Sophia, Ethan, Lillian and Remy, and her fifth great-grandchild on the way.
Visiting hours will be at Ascension Catholic Church at 7250 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Monday, October 1, 2018, from 10am– 11:45am, immediately followed by Mass from Noon – 1pm.
