Maria was the most kind-hearted and generous soul. A neighborhood Mom for many of us, “Mrs.V” as she was known, was deeply involved within her community throughout her life. A Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, Baseball Mom, PTA Member, Sunday School Teacher and volunteering her time whenever possible.
Throughout her life, Maria was devoted to her faith in the Greek Orthodox Church. As a member of the Daughters of Penelope, she had much fulfillment in helping to promote Education, Philanthropy, and civic responsibility in our community.
During her time with us, Maria lived her life just as she wanted. With a beautiful smile, unwavering positive attitude, and her heart filled with enough Love for all. For any encounter with her left a lasting impression, leaving us all feeling good. Never to be underestimated was her Sense of Humor. Maria loved to smile and laugh as often as possible, as she was able to do with so many of us.
