Marcelina Correa, 90, of Boca Raton passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Marcelina was born on December 24, 1927 to parents Julio and Ana Padron Cuenca. She was born, raised and educated in Cuba. A women ahead of her time, she received her Doctorate degree in Child Psychology. She was a brilliant scholar, a wonderful teacher and mentor to many. She met the love of her life, Nestor Correa, and they wed on July 4, 1959. They left Cuba and came to the States in 1967.
Marcelina is survived by Nestor, her loving husband of 60 years; devoted son Nestor, Jr; loving daughter Ana (Andrew) Laboskey; and six precious grandchildren: Katlyn Laboskey, Andrew Laboskey, Jr., Kristin Opfar, Arianna, Luca and Alessandro Correa. She also leaves her sister, Esperanza Cuenca of NY.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday 4:00-8:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Glick Family Funeral Home.
