It is with great sadness that the family of Manuel Oyola of Boca Raton, Florida announce his passing on October 1st, 2018 at the age of eighty-two. Manuel joined his wife Iraida Oyola.and Daughter Judith Oyola in the house of the Lord. Manuel was married to Iraida for 57 years and was the father of Judith Oyola, Manuel Oyola Jr., Jeannette Oyola, and Peter Oyola. He also left behind his two brothers, Rafel Soto Jr. and Pedro Soto. He had ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two nieces and four nephews.
Manuel was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on October 27th, 1935 to Genoveva Oyola and Mariano Velilla Jr. Manuel was adopted into the family of Maria Santos Clemente, Daniel Estrada Santos, and Narcissa Estrada who raised him with unconditional love.
Manuel was an affectionate man with plenty of love and adoration for his family. He was a giving man, willing to do anything for anyone in need. He had a love and passion for traditional Puerto Rican music, he was a fan of old John Wayne movies and American baseball.
In Manuel’s early life he worked as a baker and made the best bread pudding you could buy. He was a master plumber by trade and was most proud of installing and restructuring plumbing in El Capitol de Puerto Rico.
Manuel will be forever missed and loved by his family, we are thankful and blessed for the memories and love that he shared with each of us during his time here on earth. May he rest in peace.
