Josephine Amodio Fiorito

Josephine Amodio Fiorito of Boca Raton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Josephine was born in Pannarano, Italy and moved to the United States on March 17, 1953.  She married, worked, and raised children in Gloversville, NY before moving to Florida in 1977.

Josephine loved cooking delicious Italian food for her family and friends, and will be remembered for many wonderful family celebrations.  She owned her own bridal shop, and was a devout Catholic.  She loved telling those around her about her many stories and life experiences.  She will be remembered as the most loving mother and Nonna who always put those she loved before herself.

Josephine was pre-deceased by her husband Alphonso, sisters Giulia, Maria and brother Carlo.  She leaves behind her daughter Maria, son Gennaro, grandchildren Vincent and Matthew, sister Velia, brother Alfonso, and several loving nieces and nephews.

Josephine's family wishes to thank the devoted and caring staff from Trustbridge (Bluejay Team) for the excellent medical and personal care they provided her.  Special thanks to Maria, her devoted friend and caregiver.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the form of Mass intentions or to Trustbridge. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 11:00am on Monday, April 8, 2019 followed by committal prayers at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
