John Heinsohn Obituary

John Colville Heinsohn, passed away surrounded by the warmth and love of angels and family.

John leaves behind his loving children Cheyenne Frenz; Brian Heinsohn and his wife Michelle; Michelle Bello and her husband Derik; Cindy Hanlon and her husband Justin; and Cheryl Jackowski and her husband Brett, his baby sister Nora Heinsohn, his 11 beautiful grandchildren Tyler Hanlon; Noah Rusniak; Cassandra Heinsohn; Matthew Frenz; Jayden Heinsohn; Alexander Hanlon; Hannah Frenz; Maximus Heinsohn; Carter Hanlon; Phoenix Bello; and Cooper Jackowski; and the loving mother of his five children, Maria Heinsohn, as well as extended friends and family. John was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jeff.

John was born in Larchmont, New York, grew up in Clinton, Connecticut, moved to New Jersey and retired in sunny Florida. He was inducted into the Army on February 3, 1965, transferred to the reserves on February 2, 1967 and was honorably discharged on February 2, 1971. His trucking and business career path led him to finish out his years of hard work and dedication with Ashland Chemical Company as a Plant Supervisor in Chester, Pennsylvania.

During his retirement he enjoyed riding his lawn tractor and giving his grandchildren tractor rides in the Florida sun and open air. He loved history, old western movies, Johnny Cash and old country and gospel music, peace and quiet, and late night talk show humor. He adored spending time with his children and grandchildren. His face and heart always lit up when his children and grandchildren were around.

John was kind, caring, loving, witty and had a very special sense of humor. His voice was so calming and warm.

His invention of creative tools was unparalleled, his bedtime stories were the silliest, and his pancakes made so many children happy.

He is truly missed and will never be forgotten. We love you so much!
