Joan Vigneri Gregory

December 22, 1930 – March 30, 2018

Joan Vigneri Gregory passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 after an extended illness.  Joan was born and raised in Western New York and graduated with her Bachelors in Fine Art from Nazareth College of Rochester, New York.  She enjoyed her career as an art teacher, later displaying her work throughout her home and designing personalized greeting cards for family and friends.  After marrying, Joan resided in Maine, Massachusetts and New Jersey slowly moving south until settling in Boca Raton, Florida in 1970 after the automobile accident that changed her life.  Joan was a long-time parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.

Joan is survived by her three children, Mark, Pamela (Robert) John and Andrea (Thomas) Pooley and her many nieces and nephews, Dana (David) Mauro, Alicia (Craig) Pruner and Rebecca (C.J.) Macklin, Kevin Burke, Brian Burke, Jeffrey (Toni) Vigneri, Logan, Don and Cailey Vigneri.  She was preceded in death by  her parents Anthony and Jane Vigneri, brother Daniel Vigneri , sister Anne Vigneri Burke and former  husband, Augustus P. Gregory, Jr.

Joan’s family attended St. Michael’s since the 1900’s and her funeral mass will be celebrated there this summer.
