Jerry B. Howard Jr.

Jerry B. Howard Jr. born October 1, 1934 in Donora, PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 14, 2019.  Je was blessed to be taken home while sleeping with no more pain and suffering.

He was born to Jerry B. Howard Sr. and Katherine Howard and moved with his parents to Ft. Lauderdale in 1940. He remained here for most of his life.

Jerry leaves behind his soulmate, partner and devoted wife Connie.  Jerry is also survived by his sons Doug and David Howard; his beloved granddaughter Laura Rogers (Phillip) and his two favorite boys his great grandsons Taylor and Thomas Rogers. Many other family members will greatly miss Jerry as will his friends and co-servants at church.

Jerry was president and owner of Jerry B. Howard & Associates Sports Photography.  He specialized in Motor sports and was well recognized for his talents.

Jerry was also asked to photograph the original space shuttle at Edwards AFB in California when it was released from under a 747 during testing trials.

Jerry’s most important life’s work was servant of the Lord. He loved serving in multiple ministries at Calvary Chapel, and was a deacon in his home church of Calvary Chapel, Boca Raton where he greeted folks with a smile and twinkle in his eye sharing God’s love. He also enjoyed praying for others and was deeply committed to doing that ministry with Connie at his side.

Those who knew Jerry well know he loved to share stories so we can all imagine how happy he is to be able to relay his stories with all the angels and saints in heaven.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 7th at Calvary Chapel in Boca Raton.    

In lieu of flowers, it would be Jerry’s desire that donations be made to 4 Kids of South Florida.
