Jason Robert Licata

Jason Robert Licata, 38, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 in the comfort of his home.

Jason was born August 22, 1979 in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Boca Raton at the age of ten. He attended Saint Joan of Arc Catholic School, grades 4-8, Pope John Paul, and completed high school at Boca High. Jason then attended Palm Beach Community College for two years.

As a young boy, he enjoyed playing soccer and football. Jason was also active in scouting. His love for children was portrayed when family was present, especially when his niece and nephews were by his side. Making people laugh was a favorite pastime. Jason was always a bright shining light in the room.

He is survived by his mother, Darlene Licata, and his father, Jack Licata Jr., and his sister, Gina Purcell.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday (April 12th) from 4:00-7:00pm to reminisce and celebrate Jason's life at the Glick Family Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 6:15.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Joan of Arc Tuition scholarship Fund to support a child in need. Checks can be dropped off at the main school office made payable to St. Joan of Arc School (please write "Jason Licata tuition scholarship" in memo area).

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held in Maryland at St. Joseph Catholic Church where Jason attended while residing in Maryland.
