Ines Rodrigo

Ines Rodrigo passed away peacefully in Boca Raton, Florida, surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. She was 91 years old.

She is survived by her son Joseph (Oso) and Patty, her son Xavier and his wife Nicole. She will be lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren, Jenna, Christina, Gabrielle, Nicolas and great grandchild, Adelina.

Born April 20,1928 in Lima, Peru, where she later met her husband Jose (Pepe) Rodrigo. They moved to the United States to start their family. They married in Saint Patrick’s Cathedral - Manhattan, New York on March 22, 1959. 

Ines and Pepe raised their two sons in Queens, New York and afterwards moved the family to San Diego, California in 1979. After 17 years in California her beloved Pepe passed away. She eventually moved to Boca Raton, Florida where she lived peacefully - always close to her family.

Ines enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and going out with her friends. She was fiercely independent and getting by on her own was a source of pride. She enjoyed volunteering at Election Halls and was proud to have become a US citizen while in NY in the year 2000. 

Her sense of humor was contagious and we will miss her tremendously.
