Gerard W. Jordan

Gerard W. Jordan of Boca Raton entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, June 22, 2018.  Jerry was born on July 26, 1937 in Washington, DC.  He married his life partner, Nancy Moore, and they raised their family in Maryland.  He retired from C&P Telephone Company and relocated from Clinton, Maryland to Boca Raton in 1993.

Jerry was a history buff and had an overwhelming interest in the history of the President’s of the United States.  His leisure time was spent reading presidential books and giving talks about the presidents. 

He was a Master Mason of North Broward Lodge #204 and Camp Springs, Maryland Lodge #277.  He was also a Shriner and a member of the Order of Eastern Star #187.  Jerry was a faithful member of St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in Delray Beach. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Carl Jordan & Lucille Cawood; his brother Carl Jordan and grandson Anthony Allen.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy Jordan; three devoted daughters: Julie (David) Crews, Jennifer (Rick) Custis and Donna (Keith) Hardy.  He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Eric (Brooke) McNab and Samantha Hardy as well as great grandchildren Jaylene, Owen, Khole and Kinley; and his sister Shirley Lewis. 

Family and friends will gather at Glick Family Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 30, 2018; the Funeral Service will begin at 3:00pm in celebration of a life well lived.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
