Franco Bellarosa Cioe, 80, of Highland Beach, FL, passed away on Thursday, January 5th, 2017 in Boca Raton, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen, his 3 daughters Cinzia, Eliana, and Cristina, and his 7 grandchildren.

Franco, when I first met you, you didn’t know how to swim. Soon after that you had become a skilled diver who won an underwater photography award. A few years later you became an experienced pilot who outlived a breath-taking aerial accident. Plenty of us have also enjoyed your talents as refined chef and pattissier. You never let your body or your mind go idle during your lifetime. Always on the go, always looking for improvement or perfection.  Dear Franco, now that you are not longer with us in flesh and blood, may I suggest that you become our hero? It’ll keep you busy!
