F. Edward "Eddie" Nolan, Jr., 64, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, after a long fought battle with cancer, in the presence of those who dearly loved him.

Eddie was born in New York, NY, and raised in Eastchester, NY. He was a graduate of Eastchester High School and was very proud of his 10 years of service as a firefighter with Eastchester Volunteer Fire Department. In 1981, Eddie moved to Florida and began working for Florida Power and Light. Eddie was employed by FPL for 36 years.

Eddie is survived by the loves of his life wife, Kathleen (Cloran) and his daughter, Madison Olivia, and his beloved dogs, Bella and Owen. He is also survived by his loving sisters: Maureen Young (William) and Pat Growse.  Eddie was loved like a son by his In-laws, Dave and Sheilah Cloran. He is also survived by his loving brother-in-law: David Cloran (Jody); sisters-in-law: Colleen Lewis (Kreg) and Laura Haase (John); nieces: Courtney Young, Renee Owens, Hadley Haase, and Sarah Cloran; nephews Kent Young, Mike Growse, Lukas Lewis, and Heath Lewis; great-nieces: McKayla, Isabella, Katelyn, Haven, and Brooklyn;  great-nephews: Connor, Jack, and Nicholas; as well as his special cousin, MaryLou Kennedy, and many loving extended family members and friends. Eddie was predeceased by his parents, Francis Edward and Eileen Nolan.

Eddie will be remembered most for his warm smile; wonderful laugh; his wise-cracks; his devotion to Kathleen, Madison, his dogs, and his family; his love of coffee, fishing, and life. Eddie took pride in his years of employment with FPL and loved his special relationships with coworkers and customers.

Services:

The family will receive family and friends from 5-8pm on Friday, April 13, 2018, at Glick Funeral Home in Boca Raton, FL.

At 9am on Saturday, April 14, 2018, there will be a Mass in celebration of the life of Eddie at St. Jude Catholic Church in Boca Raton, FL.

There will be a reception immediately following Mass at the clubhouse of High Point Section 7, 335 NW 48th Avenue, Delray Beach, FL  33445.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eddie's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of South Florida, a dog rescue organization of your choice, or the college fund of Madison Nolan.
