Frances (Patapis) Ritsos

Frances Ritsos, 86, of Flushing, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Delray Beach, FL.

Frances was born on November 1, 1931 in Chios, Greece to Constantine and Efthimia Patapis.  She emigrated to New York when she was 14. Frances married her beloved husband of 47 years, George Ritsos, in 1948, and together they raised their 2 children in New York.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Stella Ritsos, her son, Terry Ritsos and his wife Jane, siblings, Isidor Constantine Patapis and Sylvia Kalamaras and her many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 9-9:30am followed by a funeral service at 9:30am at St Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton, FL on Tuesday, February 6. She will be laid to rest in Flushing Cemetery in Flushing, NY with her late husband on Thursday, February 8 at 11:15 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation, Save the Children or to a charity of your choice in memory of their Mother.
