Fanchon Barrett Barron, 76, passed away on May 11, 2018, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital after a short illness. She was born September 29, 1941 in Somerset, Kentucky.
In 2001, she relocated from her home in Dyer, Tennessee to Ft. Pierce, Florida to be closer to her children and grandchildren, exemplifying her devotion to her family. While in Florida, she became the gate guardian at her community, where she was endeared by so many people.
She leaves behind two daughters, Teresa Barron Gornto (Port St. Lucie, FL) and grandson Jeremy, and Liz Magafas (Delray Beach, FL) and granddaughter Molly. She is survived by a brother Nelson Miller of Cabot, Arkansas as well as nieces and nephews. Her brother Johnny Miller is predeceased.
A Celebration of Life will be held at High Point in Ft. Pierce, FL on June 2, 2018 commencing 2 PM. If you would like to contribute in her honor, the family is asking that you make a donation to American Cancer Society.
