Ernest (Ernie) John Coshonis, age 66, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2019 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital surrounded by family.
Ernie was born to immigrant parents Lefcothea and John Coshonis, and was raised in New York City where he graduated from CUNY Brooklyn College with a degree in Accounting. He was the President and Owner of The Talbot Group, a relocation services company.
In 2002, Ernie relocated to Boca Raton, FL to be near family and was a member of the Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church.
He is survived by his sister, Helen Ballerano and her husband James, two nephews Jonathan and Christopher and Christopher’s wife Monica, beloved godchildren and numerous cousins.
Family and extended family were the center of Ernie’s life. He was an avid sports fan and loved sharing experiences of country music, fellowship and road trips with the people he cared about. His love and friendship will be missed by all.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 5-8pm at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton. Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 31 at 9:00am Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Port Washington, NY with internment following at Flushing Cemetery.
Memorial donations in honor of Ernie may be made to Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
