In Loving Memory of  Donna B. Pelstring

Donna Jean (Barrow) Pelstring was born August 23, 1930 and passed away into God’s loving arms on October 6, 2017. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Walter Richard Pelstring. Sister-in-law Martha Barrow. Brother and Sister-in-law Robert and Kathryn Sanders and brother-in-law Kaye Don Lewis. She is survived by son Alan (Jan) Pelstring, daughter Wanda (John) Harrold, grandchildren Samantha and Ryan Harrold and Bryce and Taylor Pelstring, brother William Barrow, brothers and sisters-in-law Ed and Shirley Schloss and Bart and Sue Pelstring, and sister-in-law Nancy Lewis and many devoted nieces, nephews and friends.

Donna was born in Columbus, Ohio, attended Ohio State and remained a Buckeye fan throughout her life. Seeking adventure, she moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1953 where she met Walt while working for GMAC. Donna went on to a successful career in Real Estate, working for many firms throughout Florida. She enjoyed volunteering in her communities, bridge, politics and most of all was an avid sportswoman. She loved golf and was on many All City tennis teams. Donna loved travel and planned beautiful vacations for her family in their motor home seeing America. Their careers took them to Alabama and Oklahoma, but when it was time to retire they wanted to be back with family in Florida. Donna loved being with her grandchildren and spent many hours entertaining, teaching and loving them unconditionally.

Donna will be dearly missed by her family; may she rest in peace safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
