Diana Rose Biesterfeld

Diana Rose Biesterfeld, 79, of Boynton Beach passed away Wednesday September 27, 2017.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years Joseph, children Joseph (Bonnie), John (Sharon), Carolyn (Michael), and Paula (Scott), grandchildren Deborah (Rick), Stacy (John), John (Tiffany), David, Jennifer (Brandon), and Ashley (Brian), and great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Chloe, Logan, James, Johnny, Tyler, Madelyn, Lilliana, Ryder, Reagan, and Laila, and sister Rosemarie.  

Diana was born on January 30, 1938 in Queens, New York to her loving parents, Rocco (deceased) and Pauline (deceased).  Diana met her husband Joseph at age 11 and the couple married when she was 16.  While raising their four children, the family moved to Florida in 1973.  In 1975, Joseph and Diana opened Green Thumb Lawn and Garden, where she worked as owner and bookkeeper until her retirement in 2007.  Diana loved traveling, shopping and most importantly spending time with her family and friends.  

A Celebration of Diana's life will be held from 4-6PM on Saturday, September 30 at Glick Family Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, those who desire can donate in Diana's honor to Alzheimer's Association or your local hospice charity.  Diana was loved by all who met her and will be dearly missed.
