Delia Camacho

Delia Camacho of Parkland passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  Delia was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on October 26, 1928 to parents Domingo and Epifania Camacho.   As a young woman, she made the decision to come to America for the opportunities offered and further her education.   She had a fearless independent spirit that enabled her to create her destiny.  Delia passed to her children the value of education, and more importantly, the love of the Lord.  Her faith showed in her face and radiated from her gentle soul.  

Delia was a creative and expert seamstress.  When she wasn’t working, she loved cooking for her family.  She always gave praise to God for everything and everyone in her life.  Her family takes comfort in the knowledge that she is now joyfully in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

Delia will be dearly missed.  She is survived by her devoted daughters Myrna Gross and Eneida Pinero and sons - in - law Philip Gross and Charles Pinero.   Delia adored her grandchildren: Yvonne, Roxane, Melissa and Danielle.  Her great grandchildren include Christopher, Matteo, Antonio and Elan.  She embraced and was loved by her extended family and grandchildren, Beth, Quinn, Gary, Robin, Adam, Danielle, and Jennifer.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday from 4:00-8:00pm at Glick Family Funeral Home.  A prayer service and a time of remembrances will begin at 6:00pm.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, April 17th at The Church of All Nations in Boca Raton followed by private burial.
