Debra A. Powers

Debra Ann (French) Powers, 64, of West Palm Beach passed away on December 13, 2019.

Born in Boston, MA to Roy French and Angelina Caruso on August 29, 1955, Debbie was the youngest of five children.  She spent most of her life in Massachusetts until moving to West Palm Beach in 2013 following the passing of her husband, David.

She spent several years working as a retail supervisor in West Palm Beach.  In her years as a Floridian, she found popularity among her co-workers and neighbors, always known for her kindness and willingness to go the extra mile to make someone feel special.

Nothing mattered more to Debbie than her family.  An incredibly gifted cook, she worked especially hard around the holidays, sharing her ever-present sense of love and spirit.  She and her family shared many fond memories camping in the White Mountains in New Hampshire, as well as summer vacations along Cape Cod.  Her family and friends will also surely remember many entertaining nights spent with her playing UNO, Backgammon, or Cribbage.

Surviving her are eight children:  Daniel Power of West Palm Beach, Joseph Power and his wife, Lisa, of Saugus, MA, Nicole Simpson and her husband, Tyler, of Salem, MA, Michael Powers of Salem, MA, William Power and his wife, Cynthia, of Lake Worth, Sheila Girard and her husband, Robert, of Middleton, MA, Dennis Tarr of Topsfield, MA, and David Powers of Peabody, MA, as well as twenty grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Also surviving her are three siblings:  Madeleine Rossetti and her husband, Dennis, of Saugus, MA, Lillian Razza and her husband, John, of Henderson, NV, and John French and his wife, Ann, of Revere, MA.  She was predeceased by her sister, Genevieve, and also by her beloved husband, David, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage.  She will be dearly missed.

A service will be held from 6-8pm on Monday, December 16th at Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33431.
