David L. Wilson, 90, born June 3, 1927, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, FL.  He was a loving,
kind, happy man who loved God and his family.

David is survived by his loving wife, Alice, and daughters Becky Wilson Dove (Mike) of Athens, GA, Mary Brinley (John Sanders) and Tami Whitten Black (Roger)
both of Boca Raton, grandchildren Melanie Dove Jenkins (Brandon), Melissa Dove May (Frank), Brian Brinley (Heather), Lynn Brinley, Louise Brinley,
and great grandchildren Julia Brinley, Conner Brinley, Grace Brinley, Elizabeth Brinley and Chatham May. He is predeceased by his first wife Jean (Wood) Wilson,
brothers Carl Wilson (Nellie) and John "Willy" Wilson (Ruth).

David was born in Atco, GA.  He proudly served in the US Army during World War II under the direction of General George S. Patton, Jr.  When he returned from the
war, he began his career as a lineman on the Truck Division at General Motors in Michigan.  David later retired after 22 years from General Motors as a Plant
Supervisor at the Lakewood, GA plant.  After retirement, he managed a Sherwin Williams store, an A&W Rootbeer franchise and later worked at Kroger in Georgia,
which he thoroughly enjoyed due to his love of people.  He always said he never met a stranger.

He loved fishing, singing and listening to gospel music, watching westerns on TV, playing card games, and spending time with family and friends. Two of his
favorite sayings were "I'm not lucky, I'm blessed!" and "I'm not spoiled, I'm just well taken care of!"  David will be remembered by all for his love of the Lord,
wonderful outlook on life, storytelling and always-ready smile and humor.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 17th at Glick Family Funeral Home on Federal Highway in Boca Raton from 10-11:30 a.m. with services immediately
