Cosimo Vallone of Deerfield Beach passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. He was 82 years old. Cosimo was born in Palermo, Sicily to parents Pietro and Maria Vallone on May 29, 1936. He came to America in 1956 at the age of 18 and settled in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He was a self-employed skilled Tailor all his life; his success moved the family to Lighthouse Point, Florida in 1979, where he expertly tailored for Baron's Clothing Store.
Cosimo is survived by devoted wife Vincenza (nee Riccamati) Vallone; three loving daughters: Mary (Nino) Scasso, Nellina (Victor) Nocera, and Josephine (Joseph) Viola. He also leaves behind his cherished nine grandchildren: Josephine, Stephanie, Vincent, Nino, Antonino, Victor, Joseph, Zina and Olivia; nephews and niece: Pietro Vallone, Mariella Muratore & Lucio Vallone. Cosimo was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law: Antonino and Anna Vallone.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm at Glick Family Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 9:30am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach. He will be laid to rest at Boca Raton Mausoleum.
He was a man of quiet wisdom and strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
