Colleen Jean Keeley

Colleen Jean Keeley of Boca Raton, FL passed away on Monday, March 12th, 2018 at the age of 67, surrounded by family and friends.

Colleen was born on September 26, 1950 at Biscayne Hospital in Miami, Florida to loving parents Jeanette Lois (Holmes) Devaney and James Patrick Devaney.

She was always a happy and photogenic child, who would later go into modeling in her young adult years. In high school, her kind heart and outgoing personality earned her many lifelong friends. She was named Class Wit by her classmates and was also an enthusiastic cheerleader. She never lost her supportive spirit and would always be the biggest fan of her husband, children, family and friends.

In August, 1970, she was set up on a blind date with Joseph F. Keeley, III. They quickly realized that they were the love of each other’s lives.  They were married in Miami on May 6th, 1972 and shortly thereafter, moved to Boca Raton. They were blessed with three children, Joseph Francis IV, James Patrick and Colleen Aisling.

Colleen was a successful stewardess, legal assistant, retail manager and antique dealer, but was most proud of her time spent as a devoted mother and wife.

Colleen is awaited by her daughter, Colleen Aisling Keeley and her mother, Jeanette Lois Devaney. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph III, her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph IV and Elizabeth and grandson Joseph V; her son and daughter-in-law James and Kathryn and granddaughters Maren, Keeten, and Rowen. She will also be missed by her father, James Devaney, her brother and sister-in-law Patrick and Tracy, niece and nephew Kathleen and Patrick, and sister-in-law, Robin Keeley.

She will be remembered for her humor, generosity, loyalty and the kind way she treated people.

Family and friends will be received at Glick Family Funeral Home 3600 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33431 on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

A celebration of life will be held at Glick Family Funeral Home 3600 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33431 on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 12:00 noon followed by interment at the Boca Raton Cemetery 451 SW 4th Avenue, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
