Colin James Tyring

Colin James Tyring, 25, of Lighthouse Point, Florida, died suddenly Saturday, October 6, 2018. He was born September 21, 1993 in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

He had a wonderful zest for life, learning, nature and the outdoors. He had a love for the mountains, ocean and lakes, a passion for hiking, kayaking, and gardening - especially butterfly gardens, and working with his hands. He also enjoyed grilling, cooking outdoors, researching new fascinations, and was generous with his time helping others.

He was an employee of aquascapes in Englewood and SFC Pool Corporation. Most recently, he was assigned to their Punta Gorda, Florida office.

He is survived by his long time girlfriend and love of his life, Anastasia Lugvina; his mother, Kristen Tyring Badger and her husband Robert Badger of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his father, Richard "Smitty" Smith of Lighthouse Point, Florida; a sister Natalia Tyring of Deerfield Beach, Florida; step sisters Elizabeth Kingsbury, Amanda Tadlock, and Emily Badger; step brother Gregory Badger; and  nieces Juliette DiGraziano and Ellie Tadlock. 

Additionally, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Joan Tyring of Stratham, NH; as well as aunts and uncles Linda Tyring, Barbara and Jim Smith, Erica Tyring, Patricia Macioci, Cathy Barney and partner Sally, and Steven and Diane Smith, and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Nels Tyring, and his paternal grandmother, Eileen Smith.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00am at the Glick Family Funeral Home located at 3600 North Federal Highway, in Boca Raton, Florida 33431.
