Charles Frederick Riedling

Charles Frederick Riedling (Fred), age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in his hometown of Boca Raton, Florida. 

He was a proud service member of the United States Navy, and fulfilled his dreams as a successful entrepreneur (Belzer's Hardware, to name one) here in Boca Raton. 

He was a loving husband to his wife, Nancy; and a proud father to his children Cathy Johnson, Kim Faley, and Mike Riedling.  He is also survived by his grandchildren who adored him: Carrie, Jason, Jonathan, and Jeremy; as well as his great-grandchildren Mason and Alexis. 

Fred was originally from Louisville, KY and maintained his sweet Southern accent.  He spent his days relaxing, playing golf, traveling, and enjoying his daily cigar. 

Friends and family members are welcome to attend the service at Glick Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.  Respects can be paid during the hours of 10:00 am - 12:00 pm; with service to follow at 12:00 pm.  As a United States Navy Veteran, Fred will then be laid to rest at South Florida National Cemetery.
