C. Morgan Jackson

C. Morgan Jackson completed his life's journey and entered eternal life on November 28, 2017, at the age of 90.

Morgan was born in Baltimore, MD, on November 3, 1927, to Aquilla and Bessie Morgan Jackson. He attended Cathedral School in Baltimore and after his father's death the family relocated to Marshfield, WI where he attended Marshfield High School. His life of service began when, at the age of 17, he was pulled out of high school by the U.S. Navy to be trained as a radar technician. Shortly after, World War II ended; and he then served 8 years in the U.S. Navy reserve. He attended Marquette University where he earned a degree in Business Administration. He was a principled life insurance agent for the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company for 50 years.

In 1971, Morgan married Anne, the love of his life, and together they pursued his passion for cruising and sailing. They spent many years sailing their own boats and often helping others fulfill their dreams. He was a Life Member of the United States Power Squadron. Theirs was a marriage made in heaven. Morgan will be remembered by friends and colleagues as a helpful, happy, witty, honest, contented, caring man.

Survivors include Anne, his wife and best friend; Nancy, his beloved sister. Trygve and Tula Solberg, his loving brother and sister-in-law. Seven nieces and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lucille (Eugene) Brounk. The Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM will be at Ascension Catholic Church, 7250 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton, FL 33487 on Saturday January 20, 2018, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Daughters of Charity, Inc., 4330 Olive Street, St. Louis, Missouri  63108-2622. Ministry to the Needy at Ascension Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
