So sad to hear of Tony's passing. He was a lion of a man with a very soft heart. It was a joy watching him play tennis at 90 on the courts at ABC. One of my best ABC memories is of Max and I being asked to join him and Irene for his 90th birthday celebration. Just to be included with family and close friends was an honor. His graciousness was on full display that evening and he considered it a gift to be 90 and still active. He will be missed by anyone who knew him.

Tony was a gentleman on and off the courts. His loved his family and they always came first. He often spoke about them and their accomplishments.
Believe it or not, he could be cranky at times and have an occasional complaint. I loved every minute of it and will greatly miss him.

Tony was my close tennis and lunch partner since 2000 at the DBC . We were
both members of the West Side Tennis Club in the Forest Hills Gardens where
I grew up.
We shared many stories and dinners together with Tony & Irene & Evan & Sue Morris.. Tony regaled us with his tennis accomplishments and life experiences.
Along wirh Roger Ashcroft and Don Thompson and Buck Atherton and Bob Wolfang.
WOW, the memories of Tony will be long remembered by ALL.
RIP,
