Ann Pappas Karambelas aka Ann Karambelas Testai, (91) of Boca Raton, Fl. passed into the loving arms of the lord Sunday, March 24th at Hope Hospice with loving family members and nurturing staff at her side.
Anna was the daughter of Elle and Michael Pappas of Staten Island, NY and the upper east side of NYC. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was known as a great cook, talented artist and competitive ballroom dancer.
Anna was passionate about musicals such as dirty dancing, Jersey boys and west side story just to name a few. She was quick witted, well read and often shared her knowledge of Marilyn Monroe, The Kennedys and Frank Sinatra.
Ms. Karambelas was pre-deceased by husbands Samuel Testai and Peter Karambelas, son Michael, sisters Mary Zino and Catherine Darcy. She leaves behind sister Helen Bisignano, Daughter and Son-in-law Antonia and Anthony Cravotta, Son Christopher Karambelas and partner Carla Langlois, grand children Randa, Christopher and Colby Karambelas, John and Michelle Porchia, Michael Cravotta, Kenneth Lascar and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Glick Funeral Home, Boca Raton, FL. March 28th from 4-7 pm with funeral services being held at St. Marks Greek Orthodox Church Boca Raton, FL. Friday March 29th at 10 am with services concluded at Boca Raton Mausoleum.
