Born in New Rochelle, New York on January 7, 1931. Graduated from New Rochelle High School, attended Bridgeport University, New York University, enlisted in the United States Army, Graduated from Officer Candidate School, Fort Knox, Kentucky, completed Airborne (Jump) School, Fort Banning, Georgia and became a qualified Jump Master. He served three years during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953.
After the war, he returned to New Rochelle, New York and married Phyllis Case on December 15, 1954. They remained married for 54 years until Phyllis’s death in 2008. He became president of the New Rochelle Realty Board and the Westchester Society of Real Estate Appraisers. He also was a Commander of the American Legion with over 1,000 Veteran members.
He moved to Florida in 1977 where together with his wife Phyllis, owned and operated an ocean front resort in Delray Beach before retiring.
After his first wife’s passing, he again found love and on January 29, 2010 married his second wife, Claire Wilson McGoey and they moved to Saint Andrew Estates South, a retirement community in Boca Raton, Florida.
He is survived by his two sons. Michael lives in Delray Beach with his wife, Dawn, and is a CPA with his own practice in Boynton Beach. Patrick is an acknowledged computer expert with his own business in Boca Raton, where he lives with his wife Hanna.
