Welcome to the memorial page for

Sally Annrenetta Hall

November 13, 1931 ~ September 11, 2017 (age 85) 85 Years Old

Sally Annrenetta Hall, born November 13 1931, passed away September 11, 2017.  She grew up in Waynesboro Virginia attending Woodrow Wilson High School.  While attending school she played Girls Varsity Basketball.  Sally was the second oldest in her family of nine children born to Roy and Katherine Zimmerman.  She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Franklin (Bernice), Douglas (Debbie), Roy Jr., and most recently Shirley Gail Berlanga (Jesse, deceased).  Sally’s surviving siblings are David (Janet), Katherine Milliser (Charles), and Jane Caccipaglia (James, deceased).

June 12, 1950 Sally married William Louis Hall of Washington D.C.   The couple moved to Arlington Virginia where they raised 4 children.  Patricia Young (Robert), William Hall, Jr. (Kathy), George (Deb), and Jacqueline Orr (Dan, deceased).  Sally and Bill are the proud grandparents of 15 and the great-grandparents of 23.

Sally and Bill moved from Arlington to St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. where they owned and operated a Charter Boat company for several years.  During this time, she learned how to sail boats and continued using her accounting skills to manage the business.  Sally encouraged her children and grandchildren to become educated.  This is an example she set as she obtained her Real Estate Brokers license at the age of 70. Her entrepreneurial spirit continued as she and her husband owned and operated businesses in Maryland, U.S.V.I., and Florida.

In 2010 her husband of 60 years passed away.  She kept busy with her real estate, visiting family, and attending concerts.  Sally moved from Naples, Florida to Boca Raton, Florida to be closer to family, where she passed away quietly.

Plans are for her interment at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham Maryland, alongside of her husband.

In lieu of flowers, those who desire, can donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, for Breast Cancer Research or any other charitable fund in her honor.
