I worked with Ron and Jeanne a million years ago at Intermedics, and I was thinking of them recently. They both had such a dry sense of humor and were so much in love! Many years have passed and lots of changes in our lives but great to see that Ron and Jeanne kept things happy to the end. Condolences and best wishes to Jeanne.

Dear Jeanne and RJ:

My heart breaks for both of you and all the family. It is so difficult to turn our loved one over to God and eternal rest. I do believe the pain is great because the love was great. Pain is an act of love and as time passes; the pain lessens but is never gone. I subscribe to sentiments from Rose Kennedy: "it has been said 'time heals all wounds'; I do not agree. The wound remains. In time the mind; protecting its sanity , covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone. "

Always loved and forever remembered.

"A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
It broke her heart to see you go
God only takes the best.

They say that memories are golden
Well, maybe that is true
But Jeanne never wanted memories
She only wanted you.

Your life was love and laughter
Your love for others true
You did the best for everyone
And all you met will remember you.

Jeanne sat beside your bedside
Her heart was crushed and sore
She was committed to the end
Til she could do no more.

In tears she watched you sinking
She watched you fade away
And though her heart was breaking,
She knew you could not stay.

Lips cannot tell you how much you were loved,
Friends' hearts know not what to say,
Only God knows how much she misses you
In your home together so lonely today.

Time is
Too slow for those who wait,
Too swift for those who fear,
Too long for those who grieve
Too short for those who rejoice,
But for those who love,
Time is etermity. -- Henry Van Dyke

There is no better man than Ron Choinski. He was the most kind, gentle, funny, considerate, polite, intelligent man I have ever met. He found his soul mate in Jeanne and they loved each other with a love that will never die. The way they looked into each other's eyes spoke volumes. Then, they both would giggle.

I have known Ron and Jeanne from our days of Narco Scientific in Fort Washington, PA. Jeanne and I would send telexes to Ron when he was in Ireland while he was working. Always laughing and happy. How could anyone not love this man?

While Jeanne was my friend initially, Ron quickly became a good friend too. I do not think I remember a time when they were not holding hands when walking or sitting together. "That's my Jeanne," he would always say to me, and then we would laugh.

Such a loss for Jeanne as she bravely kept a happy face for Ron through Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Her smile - always bright. Ron was brilliant and quick witted. I cannot imagine how she felt seeing the man she loved slipping away, the panic she had felt when he would get lost walking the dog, the sadness of losing the person with whom she shared all of her feelings, ideas and thoughts. How did it feel for Jeanne to experience this? How did it feel for him knowing what his Jeanne would face down the road? How did she feel knowing he was feeling sad for her? I cannot imagine.

What I do know is that Ron Choinski was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My prayers for peace to Jeanne.
