Robert A. Anderson

June 29, 1936 ~ September 3, 2016 (age 80) 80 Years Old

Following a long brave time of illness, Robert Alexander Anderson passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016.

During his life time, he enjoyed all manner of sports.. While growing up and residing in Duluth, Minnesota, (moving to Boca Raton, FL 1970), he played hockey throughout high school, curled at the Duluth Curling Club, participated in bonspiels throughout the area, including Quebec International Bonspiel. He became a golfer at Northland Country Club Duluth and for a brief shining moment was a 1 handicap, also, an enviable number of Hole-in-Ones. He enjoyed that sport for life. He played courses from Pebble Beach, to Scotland//Ireland. He enjoyed hunting and fishing: Hunting from Argentina to Saskatchewan; Fishing from the Outer Banks of NC to the Bahamas. He was a member of the Royal Order of the Orange.

His wife, Elizabeth, and children, Drew, Steven, James (Linda), Jennifer (Daniel) Schultz, Bryer (Bryan) Tindell and grand children, Britney, Jennifer, Robert Anderson (Drew); Lily Anderson (James); MaryGrace, Greta, Gunnar Schultz (Jennifer); Harper and Audrey Tindell (Bryer); sister Bryer Shepherd, mourn his passing, along with the many friends he loved along his life’s way.

In Duluth, his family church was St Paul Episcopal Church and in Boca Raton he attended St Gregory Episcopal Church. A memorial service will be held on September 17 at 10:00, St Gregory Episcopal Church.
