I am so shocked that Marty is gone. I New Marty from Brooklyn NY. He was like an uncle to me. He pushed me to join the Police Department and helped me while I was there we spoke often. He was so proud of my career in the Polce Department, my promotions he was always so proud.. He gave me a full size police shield that I admired everyday until I received mine. I remember going to his house on 44 st. I was so depressed when he decided to move to Florida. I went to Florida once and met him for dinner he looked terrific for his age. He told me that he was still playing in the band and really enjoyed it. I remember Just speaking to him like it was yesterday. May he Rest In Peace and May perpetual light shine upon him. Till we meet again your step nephew.

I was so blessed having you in my life Marty. "Love you madly" as Duke Ellington said. Rest in piece till we meet again....
