Larry Barton Vigus

Larry Barton Vigus died on Sunday, July 19, 2015 surrounded by family.  He was 76.

Larry was born on July 15, 1939 in Topeka, Kansas.  He served in the US military in both the Navy and the Army reserve.  He had a Bachelors Degree in business and retired as a small business owner.  He loved children, animals, and nature.  Larry was a natural storyteller and maintained his sense of humor, even through tough times.

He is survived by sons, Christopher Bowen Vigus and Andrew Barton Vigus; daughter, Kathleen Vigus Weinert, and grandsons Drew Mitchell Vigus and Joseph David Weinert.

Larry will be laid to rest at 9:00 am on Friday, July 31 at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Tri-County Animal Rescue, 21287 Boca Rio Road, Boca Raton, FL  33433.
