To The Extended Trevarthen Family,

Julia''s contributions to the City of Boca Raton extended far beyond all she accomplished through her professional expertise and excellence.  Julia was noted for her personal touch and compassionate heart.  When Julia learned of a fellow colleague''s bout with Cancer, she went out of her way to faithfully and repeatedly offer support and encouragement.  The loss of Julia''s life is huge but her legacy is great.  "What then shall we say to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us?"  (Romans 8:31).

With my sincere and heartfelt sympathies and prayers,

Mary Ann Galie

To the Trevarthen Family

I too wanted you all to know how Julia touched so many lives, including mine.  I have known Julia since I was a back to school 30something student in the field of planning and have worked with here over the years on so many different projects.  It was always good news if Julia was to be part of the team - she was always positive, cheerful and could find the silver lining in the most challenging of situations.  She mentored many young and new to the field and was always wlling to give of herself to others.  My heart breaks this morning as I learned  she has left this life at so young an age - her shining smile and personality will be missed.  I am thankful for having known her, learned from her.  May the knowledge of her great gift to life here help you all as you grieve this very sad loss.

To the Trevarthen Family,

I am honored to have known and worked with Julia.  She really was an exceptional person who left such a positive mark on those that shared time with her.

She was also an incredible role model who once said to me that if she had 5 hours left on this earth, that she intended to celebrate that time and it make those hours special.  I found it incredible that she didn't dwell on the negative or seem to ever see the worst in things no matter what she was dealing with.

I wanted you to know the influence Julia had on others and know that we are all saddened by her passing.  Please accept my sincerest condolences.
