Janet Harriet (Matthews) Dull

"Miss me, but let me go...."
On Monday, May 25th, 2015, at 7:33 p.m, Janet Dull, our beloved wife, mother, step-mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and a friend to many was tenderly lifted to heaven by The Lord,  far away from a 12 year challenge with Alzheimer's disease.

Janet was born on July 25th, 1933 in Sharon, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John H. Matthews and Gladys R. (Matthews) Wimer.  She attended Farrell High school, and completed Nurses training at Sharon General Hospital in Sharon, Pennsylvania. She married the love of her life, Jay Wilbur Dull, Jr., on July 25th, 1956.  

Janet lived in Michigan much of her life and had a rewarding career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), retiring from the University of Michigan Hospitals in 1997. Janet and Jay moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 2002, where they formed meaningful relationships with their church and enjoyed countless adventures together.

Janet is survived by her spouse, Jay; a daughter, Jennifer (Bob); a step-daughter, Lynn Peterson; a sister, Eleanor Ann; a granddaughter, Stephanie Jeannette ; and a great grandson, Liam Godfrei, as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. 

Janet's life will be meaningfully celebrated in Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Arrangements are being finalized and will be shared soon.
