Gregory Lee Hornish

Gregory Lee Hornish, 73, went home to be with the Lord on August 18th, 2016, in Boca Raton, FL, after a long illness.    Greg was born in Defiance, Ohio on October 27, 1942, to Richard (Dick) Ray Hornish and Mary Janice Rickner Hornish.  He is survived by his wife, Sue Knoll Hornish of Boca Raton, FL;  daughters, Michele Lynn Hornish Verna of St. Louis, MO, and Nichole Lee Sultan of Watkinsville, GA; and his sister Beth Andersen of Tampa, FL.  In addition, he had three step children, Carrie Sue Monk, Colby Allen DeGraaf and Stacy Lee Sallah; three grandchildren and eight step grandchildren.

Greg graduated from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH, in 1964.  He was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity (ATO).  He was a regional sales manager for Xerox Corporation before going into commercial real estate.  After 13 years of experience in the real estate business, Greg founded The Hornish Company in 1995, a commercial real estate company in Omaha, Nebraska.

The memorial service was held on Saturday, August 20th, 2016 in Boca Raton, FL.  His interment will be in St. Petersburg, FL.
