George S. Regas

George S. Regas, 80, of Boca Raton passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Boca Raton, Florida.

George was a fine hairdresser in Cleveland, Ohio and a member of Saint Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.  He moved to Boca Raton where he lived with his wife Anna for 27 years.  He has been an arcon of the Greek Orthodox faith.  George was president of Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church for 8 years, a church he helped to build and loved very much.

George is survived by his wife Anna the love of his life, brothers Michael and Filoula Frangos, Peter and Maria Regas, Strati Regas, Lefteri Regas, and Sotiri Regas, nephews and nieces Steve and Kathy, Niko, Tamar, Michael, Madison, Stamati and Aimie and family, and Nina and John and family.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Thursday, May 26 at St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.  Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.

The family requests expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers be made to St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church.
