Decided to look up an old college professor and was sad to see that he passed. Frank Bennardo taught several evening courses at FAU and it was because of him and his lectures that I decided to attend law school. He even wrote me a letter of recommendation for law school around 2014. I graduated from UF Law in 2018 and am now a practicing attorney in Fort Lauderdale.
I loved his classes. He was a brilliant professor and he had an impact on so many students' lives, mine included. My belated condolences.

I am so sad to hear this news . I was reminiscing about my past with someone and told them what a godsend frank was to me during my terrible divorce in the 80s and decided to look him up and c if he was still practicing. He was a wonderful man who guided me through the worst time of my life. Godspeed to u Frank u were an angel then and I’m sure an angel now. My condolences to ur family.

I'm so sorry bout your father. You know what's so funny is my brother's were telling me that they saw u at Pope John Paul filming at my nieces volleyball game. And that was the Saturday before we even knew your father passed away. 2 days later my mom tells me that Mark came to Boca Raton to go to *Mr Bennardo's funeral* I couldn't believe it. I'm so saddened to hear this because I remember going w- you and your dad to his restaurant *Bennardo's* in Delray beach back in 1995 when u came to visit Florida from California. He was always so nice to me. And we also were reminiscing about the time we ran into you and your dad and family at the MaiKai Restaurant after your and Marks high school graduation. We have a pic of you and Mark leaning back to back in ur chairs bcuz we were seated literally rt behind u and your family. And the reason I'm bringing that up is bcuz my dad just brought that up on July 16th bcuz we went there for my son's 19th bday party. So we think of you often. You and your family were a big part of our lives.
I also would drive past your fathers law office rt on 2nd Ave. I would always think about how you and your family were doing. I know that I have all fond memories of you always being at our house with my brothers and you would drive your scooter over lol.
I tell ya... life SURELY goes by so fast because it all seems like yesterday. And then your huge College Graduation that your father threw for u. We had so much fun!! Your father definitely knew how to have fun! And I remember they put u in a chair and held you up in the air as they played music and danced at the same time lol. I was the one who was FILMING the party for u! Lol. And I remember u were annoyed w- how I didn't get enough video of you in it. But we were laughing so hard about it bcuz I was ONLY 13 and I wasn't very good at holding the camera still lol. Anyways- I'm telling you all this because I always had fun w- ya! And my whole family did as well.
And when my sister passed away you and ur family were so helpful. I remember how u would help my mom out w- me since I was ONLY 14 and losing her was almost too much for my family to handle. However you were like a big brother to me. And u were there for me wen my life was at its worse. So I wanted to thank you for yr friendship. Especially when my world seemed so hopeless.
Your father raised you well and he was always so proud of u!! That's because you accomplished so much after almost dying from cancer!!
In closing - I want to remind you that even though your father isn't here on earth any longer- doesn't mean that he's not *here* he is just not visible. He's in heaven in eternal happiness. And u WILL see him again. He is watching over you. We are spiritual beings living a human life. And he only crossed over.
My mom and dad say hello and they wanted to express their condolences. Sorry for the long story but I haven't spoken to ya in over 10 yrs. And I wanted u to know that I'm so sry about your father. And be supportive as u were to me when my sister passed away. Those are things that I never forget!

I am deeply saddened to read the news of Franks passing last evening when I tried to look up the Law Firm for a dear friend. It’s with deepest regret and sincerity that I sit to write these words that will never make its way to the heart of the man they are meant to find.
Frank was the most wonderful Mentor and Professor I had the opportunity to study from at FAU. He encouraged me to take the LSAT’s and wrote a LOR for me when I applied to Nova.
I regret that he is not here today. I looked for him & found him at the Juciera shortly before his passing. We had plans to meet again but I never heard back from him.
I thank God for those precious moments we spent together..
It is with sadness, GREAT LOVE & COMPASSION that I express my gratitude for Frank in my life. If you are watching & listening from above Frank, I love you!

When I think of Frank, the words kind and caring come to mind. I recall his wonderful nature during our high school days. He was always pleasant and a dear friend. A man of character which was quite evident when we connected again in Boca years ago before my moms passing when his help was needed. I was fortunate enough to speak with him again several months ago when his legal help was required. I will never forget Frank.

My deepest sympathies go out to the family of this incredibly wonderful man. I was lucky enough to know and work with him for almost two years. Frank touched my life in such a sincere and wonderful way. He offered me such words of wisdom and comfort when I lost my Dad 3 months ago. I will be forever grateful for having the opportunity to know him. He talked about all of his sons, his grandchildren, his brother and family almost every time we spoke.
