Dino Francis Cupelli

Dino Cupelli passed away on March 28, 2017 surrounded by his huge, loving family and friends in a very peaceful manner in Boca Raton at the age of 61.  He was a devoted father and husband and is survived by his loving wife, Denise and wonderful sons, Nicholas and Alec, who also reside in Boca Raton.  Dino’s brother is Joseph Cupelli and sister is Lillian Cortina.

Dino was born January 27, 1956 in Pennsylvania to Anello and Carmela Cupelli.  Dino was a very kind and gentle person who touched every person he came in contact with.  Dino worked his early career managing his brothers pizzeria restaurant, Pizza Time, then he became owner of Burger Time Restaurant.  Later, he became a very well-respected real estate appraiser in Boca Raton.  Dino was born into a wonderful, loving Italian family and was very proud of  his Italian heritage.  He passed on his love for cooking to his wife and sons.   He also enjoyed showing his sons how to repair things and solve problems.  He was always there at all of his sons’ sports games and activities and was fully committed to being a wonderful father.  All his life he was a family-oriented, loving husband and father and brother.   He had a passion for travel, but mostly enjoyed Sunday dinners and holidays with his large, extended family.

For the past 6 years Dino has fought a battle against ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease.  Even though most days he was exhausted, he did his part to try to advance ALS research by taking a trip to University of Miami once every couple months just to contribute what he could to finding a cure for ALS.  Dino will be greatly missed by so many friends and family.
