DeMUTH, DAVID MARTIN, 77, of Boca Raton, Florida, went to his heavenly Father on Sunday, March 5, 2017, with his loving family by his side. 

He was born September 11, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Carolyn "Carrie" Anna Schoenbaechler DeMuth and Clarence Joseph DeMuth, Sr. He graduated from Christ The King Catholic Grade School, was a proud graduate of Flaget High School, and graduated from the University of Louisville in 1967 with a Business Degree. 

After serving in the US Army Reserves, he had a successful real estate career spanning greater than 32 years specializing in the sale and leasing of restaurant, commercial, and residential properties. He contributed to the sale or lease of more than 250 restaurants/sites, and served for ten years as the Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee for the Association of Realtors of South Palm Beach County where he chaired and/or ruled on more than 35 Arbitrations/Mediations. He also served as a member of the Boca Raton Board of Realtor’s Budget and Building committees.

Dedicated to the Boca Raton community, he served as a trustee for the George Snow Scholarship Fund, Co-chairman of the St. Joan of Arc School Auction committee, President of the Booster Club at Pope John Paul II High School, President of the Home and School Association at Pope John Paul II High School, and served on the Board of Advisors at Pope John Paul II High School and on the Board of Advisors for the St. Joan of Arc Food Ministry.

David was honored to receive the Golden Rule Award by the Catholic Board of Realtors. He had the honor of being a Kentucky Colonel and Tennessee Squire, and was a member of the local Elks Club Lodge #21622.

He was preceded in death by his son Dennis Wade, his brothers, Clarence Joseph Jr., Paul Emanuel, John Francis, and Thomas Anthony, and his parents, Carolyn Anna, and Clarence Joseph Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sharon DeMuth; his cherished children, Audrey DeMuth, Anita Stevens (Kevin), David DeMuth Jr. (Gale) and Kaelin DeMuth; granddaughter, Georgia Rae Stevens, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. David will be greatly missed by his loving family and his many friends that were touched by his continuous kindness, love, and compassion to all.

The family will receive those who wish to share their condolences at the Glick Family Funeral Home (3600 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33431) on March 8, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. The Memorial Mass will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 501 SW 3rd Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Joan of Arc Food Pantry/Ministry, 501 SW 3rd Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33431.
