Christopher J. Marino, 52, of Boca Raton entered the gates of heaven on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
Christopher was born on January 14, 1965 in Brooklyn, New York; the cherished son of Michael and Phyllis Marino. He married the love of his life, Nancy Latina, on November 19, 1988. Christopher enjoyed a successful career as a Foreign Exchange Broker on Wall Street in New York City for many years. While residing in Florida he was a successful Physicians Recruiter for the past 15 years.
Chris graduated from Moore Catholic High School in Staten Island, NY.
Chris and Nancy settled in Boca Raton in 1998, where he pursued his love of fishing and kayaking. Christopher was also a great cook; he hosted many memorable get togethers for family and friends. He was a faithful Miami Dolphin fan his entire life even while growing up in New York. Chris also loved the NY Mets and the NY Rangers.
He is survived by Nancy, his best friend and wife of 29 years; his parents Michael and Phyllis; his brother Michael and sister-in-law Kelly; he also leaves behind four nieces, nine nephews, a great Niece and a God daughter. Next to his devoted friends and family, his loving canine companion, Bella, also mourns for his physical presence. Christopher has been reunited with his brother Bobby, who passed away seven months ago.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, December 17th from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm at the Glick Family Funeral Home to share fellowship, memories and eulogies. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 18th at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church in Highland Beach at 12:00 noon followed immediately by urn burial at the Boca Raton Cemetery.
