Carolyn Ann Conti Wayt

Carolyn Ann Conti Wayt, 52 went to her heavenly home on Sunday August 9, 2015 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. We were given the gift of Carolyn on March 7, 1963. She was born to Wilbur (Web) and Katheryn (Kitty) Eckert Conti in New Castle, Pennsylvania, where she lived until she was 12 years old. In 1975 Carolyn and her family moved to Boca Raton, Florida, making that her home. She graduated from Boca Raton High School in 1981 where she was very active and a high school cheerleader.  She attended Florida Atlantic College for 2 years in Boca Raton. Carolyn was a diehard Miami Hurricanes fan, holding a season pass for the last 28 years. She loved to travel, visiting many European Countries along with many destinations in the states.  Small in stature, she left a big mark on this world and her laughter and smile lit up a room.

On October 16, 1993 she married Michael Wayt and he survives. Family and friends were Carolyn’s love and joy.  She was always thinking of others. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her parents Wilbur (Web) and Kathryn (Kitty) Conti of Boca Raton; son Cale Wayt, at home; Step son, Aaron Wayt and his fiancée Flor Diaz of Tallahassee; Brother, Robert J. Conti and wife Debbi of Boca Raton; in-laws Charles Thomas and Mary Katheryn Wayt of Boynton Beach; Sharon and Andres Gomez of Shreveport, Louisiana; Helen and Carlos Ferreiro  of Delray Beach; David and Donna Wayt of Deerfield Beach; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; Kevin, Amanda, Daniel, Monica, Christina, Ellie and Lucy; along with a tremendous amount of loving and caring friends.

Carolyn was employed by Ultradent where she was a stellar senior sales rep for South East Florida for over 16 years. She led her region in sales earning many accolades. She was a regular member of the presidents club earning many international trips for herself and her family. Carolyn continued to lead her team up until last week, making calls from her hospital bed.  Previously she worked for Dr. Hawk as a dental hygienist for 16 years and the Beach Tennis Club in Boca Raton.

A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00 at the First United Methodist Church, 625 NE Mizner Blvd., Boca Raton, Florida 33432.

The family wishes to thank all those who cared for Carolyn in the last year.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Cale Wayt College Fund” and sent to 291 NE 29th Street, Boca Raton, Florida 33431
